Happy Monday!! Welcome to another Make-It Monday :) First of all I want to apologize for being MIA for a couple days last week. We've had a lot of ups and downs in my apartment in the last week...
First, on Wednesday, I got to see one of my best friends who I haven't seen in over 2 years (other than Skype) because she is in the Air Force. We spent all of Wednesday and Thursday together catching up, it was amazing :) But then, unfortunately, on Thursday night my roommate (and amazing friend of over 15 years) informed me that her boyfriend of 5+ years broke up with her. So of course I rushed right in with movies and sweet goodies. If we're being honest, I spent my entire weekend having a Harry Potter marathon with my roommate, which is nothing to complain about. But of course, it's been a rough couple of days for her. So I put blogging on the back burner for a couple of days while I focused on friends. I'm SO sorry to my crafty friends!! I promise things will be back on track now :)
Ok, enough about me, today is SUPER exciting because it is my FIRST individual post as a Guest Designer for Unity Stamp Company!!!
I really wish I could tell you guys HOW much I love Unity and HOW excited this makes me!
But there really are no words.
For today's card I am playing along with the Runway Inspired Challenge #41
(I know it isn't Work-It Wednesday, don't worry, I'll have more challenge inspiration then too!)
Check out the inspiration photo:
And check out what I created showing off my UNITY!
I die-cut the chevron in my card base and inlayed die-cut chevrons in red. I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed in black.
This AWESOME stamp can be found HERE.
I LOVE these sweet sentiments for only $1.79! And did you know that any orders at Unity for $10 or less ship for only $2.95, ALWAYS! That's a pretty sweet deal :)
I hope you guys will check out all of my creations featuring Unity (Click HERE!)
And don't forget: this week's amazing Unity sale ends TONIGHT! So get in there and grab some goodies!!
Alright sweet friends, that's all for today. I would LOVE if you would stop by the Unity blog and leave me some love there as well!
Big bloggy hugs <3
This is great, Alyssa! Congrats again on your guest DT position with Unity!
ReplyDeleteHey, have you mailed the stamp sets I won yet? Can't wait to use them!
Looks great! From my experience it would have taken me forever to get those chevrons lined up just so- great job! Love your projects!
ReplyDeleteWell this was a jam packed post! Sorry about your friend, boys suck sometimes. Congrats on you Unity guest spot and I really love the graphic feel of your card. That sentiment is cute too!
