TGIF!! And welcome to the first FREEBIE FRIDAY here at MTE!!! I really think you guys are going to LOVE Freebie Friday! And I think you are going to especially love this first one! Every Friday I will be sharing FREEBIES with you created by yours truly :) Sometimes these freebies will be printables, sometimes they will be SVGs, and sometimes even fonts! But whatever the freebie is, there will always be new goodies for you here EVERY.SINGLE.FRIDAY! Cool, no? I will ALSO be sharing a round up of other freebies I've found out and about in craft/blog land :)
Now, I apologize for this Freebie Friday going up a bit late, it will probably take me a couple of weeks to get in the swing of things, and I am delayed mostly by waiting on the freebies that I KNOW will be coming up on other sites to show up so I can share them with YOU.
BUT, I think this week's freebie will be worth the wait ;)
So.. ON TO THE FREEBIE!!
Back in 2011 when I started my first blog I was using Make The Cut! on just about EVERY project and I was just designing up a storm. At one point I designed a bow maker and shared the .MTC file on my blog. This file was SO popular! When I moved my blog to WordPress I just never got around to putting the file up again, and since then this file has been THE number one thing I have received emails about.
Well guess what? THE BOW MAKER IS BACK!!
AND it's better than ever! I've updated this file and it is now available in .SVG right here on my blog!
Now, in case you don't know what the HECK I am talking about, you can check out this video I made back in 2011 showing off my original Bow Maker:
*PLEASE NOTE* I have UPDATED and IMPROVED this file and sizes have been changed.
The file is now offered as .SVG *NOT* .MTC as stated in the video.
The new file has been designed in Adobe Illustrator so lines are cleaner, measurements are more accurate, and the file will all around cut better for you.
For the updated measurements check out this image:

ReplyDeleteLove the file! I've been wanting one of these. Thank you for the video.
ReplyDeleteTruly appreciated, many thanks...
ReplyDeleteI've had a "bow maker" on my wishlist for awhile now and so I am super glad to see this. Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for sharing this file. I remember when you did the original one.
ReplyDeleteYIPEEEE! I am on cloud nine. I watched your video on your bow maker on Scrapbook.com and even though it said it was a MTC file I thought I would come visit your blog and pray for a SVG file and there it was. I am a 68 year old grandma with arthritis and while I have always been able to make pretty bows, it has gotten more difficult. Your bow maker will definitely make my life easier.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing and making my day.
Hugs
